to the people behind me telling me to sit down

The Roar crowd were right behind the goal, and I was cheering loudly when the game kicked off then turned around to see everyone sitting down! Couldn't believe it, so after a drunken rant encouraging people to stand, me and my mates decided to move across to where everyone was standing. Was much better there as less kids to hear Muzzmans slightly foul language:lolol:

We did eventually sit down in UN3 following (polite) requests from people around us.

Most people near us did stand up for Falmer, apart from the boy in front of me that played his gameboy for the entire game!

Once the Penalty was awarded everyone around us stood!

Great stadium for watching football.

I would love to have stood the whole game, but we had some old folk and children behind us who just couldn't see, so they asked us nicely to sit down, which we tried to do, but of course, the people in front of us didn't want to sit down, so got really stuck in the middle which was a bit annoying. But loved every minute of it.

Pretty much the same here....I was in M6 in front of the disabled row - I chatted to the ladies behind me and explained that I would try to sit as much as possible, but there would be times when I would be up on my feet shouting etc!

They just told me to enjoy myself!

What a fantastic day

you people, who were in block N1, row 3,

why don't you just f*** off.

i am supporting my team.

one idiot asked me to sit down at 2.15pm, after i had been in the ground for 5 minutes!

i told him there was absolutely no chance of that so he may aswell not bother.

apprently the same bloke was heard moaning during the game that 'if this were a premiership match, we would all be sitting down'. Shut the f*** up and go and watch chelsea then you twat.

I do believe I was sitting next to this person in question. He was saying great cross, good pass etc when Bristol had the ball!

My girlfriend and I were sitting on the same row, block N1 row 3 - right down the left hand side by the steps (seats 2 and 3). I think you might have been quite near me, Lammy? But the 4 guys behind us (3 were kinda asian looking) were telling me to sit down. I only obliged as 2 of them looked fairly old, so prolly couldnt stand very often. They were really irritating me though with their comments and negativity. I had to move into the row in front to stand in the last 5 minutes as I could not sit down at a time like that. The thing that pissed me off most was just after we scored... one of the guys tutted and said "We've scored too early".

I was shitting myself! I was also incredibly sober as it was my Stag do in Bristol that weekend. I had litteraly been drinking non-stop since 2:30pm on the Friday. My body was close to shutting down.

I was in U11, right next to Bristol supporters, i must admit i got abit carried away swaring at them, some guy behind me told me to stop swaring as he had kids with him. I felt guilty and shut up.
im gonna try and curb my language next season, to anyone that knows me its gonna be an uphill task!!!

We were told to sit down but were right at the back of our block so stoof for the whole game. The steward did ask us to sit after about 5 minutes but we just stayed standing happily and he didn't say another word. Nice bloke fairly.

Thats the only thing that Annoyed me about Sunday. People that hadnt been to a match since Notts County or 84 who moaned at everyone standing.

People were getting really irate in my stand and shouting at all the fans to liven up and support the club

I was in block N2 (I think). Bottom teir, to the left hand side of the goal. Not the best view in the world, but shit, who's complaining.

I said to my mate (who'd organised the coach, tickets etc), 'How can there be so many people here that don't sing, cheer, stand-up.
I remember the point in the first half when Jones flicked the ball past their defender and broke clear. I stood up shouting 'Go on Jonah, go on' - just couldn't help myself  . The hardened life-long supporters were able to stay firmly rooted to their sets - oh the will power they must have.:p

L7 was very entertaining. I was up and down every two minutes and no-one moaned at all.

Although when the penalty was awarded, I grabbed the bloke in front of me, with a yellow old styleee shirt on and he looked at me as if I had just crawled out from under a stone...wanker!

We certainly were and the people behind me were happily standing on their chairs for much of the game, which was great.

And may I also apologise to the junior Lushes for the rather fruity language they may have encounted from a certain chubby bloke jumping around behind them in the last few minutes of the game? It was aimed at the referee as I "encouraged" him to blow his whistle.

I can hear it now: "Now that's Harveys, he's naughty and uses very bad words".

Marvellous quote! :clap2:

I suppose it's an anti-climax compared with the semi-final against Swindon
