You're safe when the season ends, and you're outside the bottom three.

You can definitely be safe before then. Manchester City for example, I would say are safe from relegation officially.

I think we are already safe. Fulham won't get to our number of points.

I'm therefore looking upwards and I have a good feeling about our remaining fixtures.

Sheff Utd (A) - tracker says nil points - so anything is a bonus, I think we have enough to win this.
Leeds (H) - tough - but our record against them for several years is sensational. I'd take a draw.
Wolves (A) - we never lose to Wolves, just never, can't see it happening now either, another draw?
West Ham (H) - as above, another team we have dominated. They are on great form, but so are we, another draw?
Man City (H) - they will thinking about the champions league or super leage or world league or whatever these greedy tossers fantasise over these days, I fancy a sneaky point again.
Arsenal (A) - another team we have done surprisingly well against - at least a point for me.

So conceivably another 8-10 points. 42-44 points I'm going for. Blue and white tinted glasses. 2-4 over tracker.

Think we need 37 points to be safe .

Agreed. At the moment I think we're still vulnerable to a last ditch surge by someone. Getting to 37 makes it an immense psychological barrier for those below us as well as ourselves.

I think the earliest possible mathematically safe scenario is no earlier than 5pm on Saturday May 1st after our Leeds game.
This relies on >>

Tonight: WBA L v Leicester
Saturday: Albion W v Sheff Utd
Sun: WBA L v Villa
Saturday May 1st: Albion W v Leeds

This means Albion on 40 points. SAFE.
and the max points left for
WBA 39 (5 games left )
Fulham: 39 (4 games left )

This Potter fanboy would love to give Potter a bashing tonight. He did not set up tonight’s team up to compete from kick off, we were losing 50/50s from the off. More steel required from kick off against shit teams who battle. He fecked up tonight, end of. It is his achilles’ heal. Tonight was SHITE

The tracker should be rebranded "The path to consistent mediocrity"

Fact is, it's all rather dull at the moment.

I think it’s allowed to believe in the manager but still acknowledge when he and the team haven’t delivered [emoji106]

I’m Potter in, but feel there certainly are issues we need to address going forward.

Sorry for the delay but I was just a bit "meh" after Saturday.

Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
You feel a bit glum after a defeat, then along comes The Tracker, and world is once again a happy place!

Yes agreed, it was a great opportunity to get above Palace (in tracker terms) as well. Can't see it happening now. Think the season is just dragging out now into mundaneness.

Honestly I would be delighted at this now. This has been such a bizarre season I've got a horrible feeling Fulham have got a couple of shock wins on the cards and the last few games are gonna be horribly nervy....

You're joking, right? All of those remaining teams – barring City – are beatable.

Leeds: beat them earlier in the season
Wolves: not looking great and got humped at the weekend;
West Ham: we're their bogey team;
Arsenal: they could be mid-table by then and playing for four-fifths of naff all.

Might not happen, but wins ARE possible from that lot. One bad game doesn't make it all doom and gloom.
