We are only forecast to get 6 points from the next 10 games. Looking at today’s performance I suddenly have a lot more belief. Amazing what a win does.

This table is exactly why I havent ever got too worried (except during the Hughton slippery slope!). Enjoy the good football and hope we get the required points as we go along. UTA

Back in the game. Lovely. Cracking goals from Danny and Solly today. I'm calling them Dolly. Brighton's latest great celebrity couple. Let's have more Dolly.

Just one behind.

All of a sudden those 9 points between Liverpool's look getable, on the verge of light.

Would be rude not to given tonight's dreadful turn out by those idiots from South London.

Fulham and Sheff United already look doomed. Probably worth saying we have never been more than 6 points behind the tracker.

Probably worth saying we are only 2 points behind the Europe tracker...

I know the 'points needed' is not dynamic but I would be tempted to switch Stains and Sheff U

Yeah - Saints look a comfortably better side than Sheff U this season.

I wonder what a difficulty matrix revised by a rolling 6-game form would do to this sort of model. Would be complicated as you'd want to take into consideration the form of those that they had played... and the form of their opponents... **** it.

Or perhaps just an alternative fixed view based on the aggregate bookmakers forecasts for the final table

Hello hello. All level now. And whisper it quietly, but only a point behind Europe!

Palace now 4 under by the way. Happy days.

Nice to see Palace in the relegation places.

Not sure how the sortation works here, but it seems justified.
