Our run in is pretty tricky as well though.
Our run in is very representative of the PL in general: We play 3 in the top 6 (I'm including Newcastle for now), 3 in the bottom 6, 2 from upper-mid table and 2 from lower-mid table. It couldn't be more evenly spread!

Fulham definitely have the harder run of fixtures: 4 against top-6 teams, and only Saints, Everton and Brentford from the bottom half.

Not sure which is accurate, that table or this....

The first table is accurate to how the table looked after we’d played 28 games. The one you’ve posted doesn’t take into account postponed games and when they get replayed. It groups games by the original week they were scheduled to be played.

Yes, we got 16 points from our last ten games of 22/23 season, to finish on 62 - so must have been on 46 points at the 28 game mark.

I know 60 is a nice round number but I would suggest 64 would be nearer the money. So to my mind Villa should be included, meaning we are 1 point off.

It’s so hard to call because there are still a number of teams in contention and we still don’t know how far down the league the European spots will go.

My gut instinct is similar to yours in that I think it’s gonna be 60+.

My gut feel says 60 for 7th/8th. A bit more for top six.

Assuming the top 3 are clear.

Chelsea need 11 points from 10
City need 12 from 9
Newcastle 13 from 10
Brighton 13 from 9
Villa 15 from 9
Bournemouth 16 from 9
Fulham 18 from 10
Brentford 19 from 9
Palace 21 from 10

It’s not hard to imagine at least 5 of those teams achieving their required points haul, just need to make sure we’re one of them and hope the cup situation takes it to 8th.

Hopefully lots of draws when the above teams play each other (apart from us!).
