I wouldn’t say very likely.

If Newcastle beat Liverpool it throws a spanner in the works.

Not to mention the FA Cup winners could easily finish outside the top 6.
I'd be very surprised if Newcastle didn't finish in the top 8. There is still a chance of the cup winners finishing outside the top 8, yes. One of Palace and Fulham will be in the semis

I think we are actually 2 points worse off at this stage than we were in 2022/23 season.....

I think that sort of return (not bad) would get Europe again, top 7 or 8.
