Europe tracker projecting only 4 more wins all season, lets hope we smash that up
In a way that encapsulates the issue; we need to win 2/3 games that tracker suggests we shouldn't as well as winning the 4 it says we should. We don't beat Aston Villa so need 2/3 wins from home games against Arsenal Man C Man U. unless we can find some away form. There might be some more fertile territory looking at the opposition.

The gap is such that current top 5 are very likely to be top 5 end of season. Villa could blow up but they would have to do so fairly big time not to be in mix for CL. That leaves one EL place and one ECL place at least to be filled, assuming one of top 7 wins FA Cup. Could go to 8th if England are one of top two UEFA coefficient countries (likely as long as Man C and Arsenal go deep) so 5 go into 24/25 CL.

Man U look best set to grab one, so scrap is between us, Newcastle, WHU, Chelsea, & Wolves for the one or two places left. Doable but looks a stretch. We need a good run sometime as at beginning of this season and end of 21/22 season.

Yes you are right, but it also assumes England's current European coefficient improves by the English teams performing better in Europe. Believe we are currently third (behind Italy and Germany) and we need to be first to get the extra Champions League place.

You need to sort by the 23/24 season
1st or 2nd will do. Here is excerpt from rules:

And finally, two additional spots are given to the associations with the best collective European performance in the previous season. That is, the current season if we’re talking about next year’s Champions League. Last term, for example, the two best associations were England and Spain. If that were to repeat this year, the fifth placed team in both the Premier League and La Liga will get a direct Champions League ticket next season.

No points dropped against the relegation tracker but one lost v Europe tracker. But really feels like a missed opportunity to of gained some ground with those missed chances.

Oddly we move up to 10th in the table (for now), due to Bournemouth losing at Fulham.

Now tracking level with 21-22 season provided we finish the season as well...

Also only one point over 18-19 season. 😱

With all the injuries and stuff, I'm starting to wonder if this whole season is jinxed and we're going to end up
mid-table, out of both cups and playing dead rubbers for the last 5 matches of the season. I desperately hope not.

Update of league table. Big gap to 6th now. Down to 11th if Chelsea beat Palace tomorrow.

Last season we reached 62 points. This season we are 27 points off that with only 14 games left. To reach that we have to win 8/9 from 14 having won only 9 from 24 so far.

Not to be negative but looking at the fixtures we have left, that’s not happening.

What would being negative look like?

that we aren’t safe from relegation and if we go on a bad run could get sucked in and scramble a 14/15th place finish.

RDZ will be so disgruntled he leaves citing not being backed in January and goes to a club where he has the finances to take Mitoma and Pedro with him. Seeing those two top players leave unsettles the group and the likes of Estupinan, Adjngra, JPVH and Ferguson start agitating for a move.

We end up losing 4 or 5 top players and RDZ and end up in a relegation battle next season.

P.s. don’t think any of that will happen but you did ask…..
