By us clueless gimps who think he is taking us backwards with his tactics and team selections. How long are you going to give him before you start having doubts, assuming things don't start to improve?

Or do you think we are doing OK as Harty seems to think by regurgitating again and again the fact we beat Man City, Leicester and Millwall, ignoring the shit performances?

Needs at least until this time next season, and to be judged once he has been through another 2 transfer windows. He is obviously not happy with the squad he has inherited, and only time will tell whether he is up to the job.

His biggest job this season is getting rid of the Wendy's influence on the players.

Well, he's nearly done that already. After Wendy influenced the players into coming 7th last season, a similar set of players are now so shit that we sit in 15th, so he has done a bloody good of getting rid of Wendy's influence.

We finished 7th after Wendy had pratically two season's in charge.

End of next season will be the indicator of how well he's doing and if he can take us upwards and onto regular Championship football at Falmer.

At last someone speaks sense

Give the guy a break, I think next season will be realistic for us as a team to start challenging the top of the Championship.

Starting a revolution from my bed
All depends how well he is doing doesnt it really? If we are in this position at Christmas and have just been stumbling along Knight wont sack him, but he'll have a lot of fans on his back. If we go into Christmas off the back of some really poor form and sit in the relegation zone I'd say it's 50/50, as Knight will not want to sack him, but the majority of fans will want him out.

If we finish where we are now and end the season in poor form then he should probably go.

However, I can't see it being economically viable for us to sack him, then bring in a manager of better quality. So whether you want him or not, as long as he doesnt dip our standards too far underneath a very mediocre League One side, he wont be going anywhere... unless he walks.

Last year we had a very good season and narrowly missed out on the play-offs. So we treated Wilkins like utter shit, sacked him and installed someone else in his place. This new person has now made the team much worse and we currently look far more likely to be relegated than promoted.

And none of this makes you at all angry??

The "give him time" argument is codswallop. That only applies when managers are trying to rebuild teams from scratch. That doesn't apply in this instance because Micky Adams inherited a bloody good team that needed just a little tweaking, and has completely f***ing ruined it.

At the end of the day, do we know for sure that Wilkins would have been any better ? We don't. I'll be the first to say I thought his treatment was shabby and if I was him I would be feeling a little smug right now, he should be but, I am not anti Adams or Dick Knight, I just realise that we have a limited situation here.

I was working in London yesterday and ended up traveling back with a bunch of disgruntled Gooners who were very unhappy as they had lost to Villa. The bile they were heaping on Arsene Wenger was utterly insane given what he has done for that club, it made most of the bitching about Adams seem very pale.

I wonder how much of this patience being shown by so many because of his achievements last time he was here. If Wilkins were still in charge most of the MA fans would be going apeshit at the shite being served up 80% of the time.

I don't think this is the same confident MA we saw last time he was here, and it definitely worries me we could be pretty shit for 3 years.

I don't know how you can say that Wilkins' team was shite 80% of the time, I really don't.

Micky knows he has to rebuild the team , its just a case of making all the jigsaw pieces fit.

Other managers make do with what they've got and improve it as they go along, what makes Adams so special that it's ok to dismantle the team and completely rebuild it? I'm sure if some season ticket holders had known this they wouldn't have renewed.

For about the 1000th time, there was not that much wrong with the team he inherited.
