To all those who left early

I have NEVER left a game before the final whistle and won't start now. There is absolutely no excuse for half the crowd walking out. You won't get home much earlier and it shows total disrespect to the team. If I were a player and saw that everybody had walked out I think I woud feel like doing the same. It makes wat CMS does at the end of match all the more pleasing (but you early leavers won't know what I am talking about).

If you have a season ticket for ANY football club , or take the time out to go to a football match to support a club on a certain day, then this says to me that you have allotted that time /day for football, travelling and queing etc etc so why hell do you need to leave early ???
Some people in the Northstand started leaving on 72 minutes yesterday !! 72 minutes WTF !!!
Understandably if its a life and death situation at home or something of that ilk then fair enough, but just to get home early and beat the rush is a WANK excuse for leaving as is assuming "its gonna be a boring nil-niller" as some prat near me said as he left on the 74th minute !!
It's f***ing embarrassing watching these people walk out so early. SHAME ON YOU !!! and HA HA HA !! bet you wish you hadn't now !!!

How do you know that the people leaving early didnt have legitimate excuse for doing so? You dont do you! Total guesswork from pricks who think there enjoyment is being spoilt by people who leave before the 90 is up. f***ing grow up!

i saw people leaving around me with 5 to go but it didnt ruin my day. I saw the winner and enjoyed it like the rest of the fans who stayed. To the ones who didnt, then you missed a good goal.
I wont berate them for leaving though.

Found it particularly amusing that a group near me who had spent the whole game moaning, about the players, poyet and some of the fans left early and missed the goal.

What's the point of this? Has anyone who left early complained that the team shouldn't have scored after they left??

I left early for the first time yesterday (own reasons) and am very pleased WB scored and that we won even though I didn't see it.

Surprisingly from walking around the stadium and even at the N Stand entrance the noise of the crowd didn't seem that loud. I imagine it was a lot louder inside :)

The point is that a large section of people who left (probably) had no other commitments, but missed THE moment of the match. If I had left I would be pretty pissed off, and it's pretty embarrassing tbh all for the sake of getting home 5 or 10 minutes earlier

I wish the moaning fuckers who sit a couple of rows behind me in WSU would leave early. In fact I wish they didn't turn up at all, then I wouldn't have to listen to their inane comments throughout the match.

:lolol:

For my tuppence worth, people can leave when they like, really doesn't bother me, it's their choice.

I've only ever left twice before the final whistle, when Murray got 'that' third, and I thought bollocks, I'll have a ciggie, and years ago away at Crewe when 3 down, and you could plainly see the team weren't even bothering.

From the pub I heard the cheer when the 4th duly went in.

Pretty obviously missed the moment of the match, but if they feel embarrassed, then that's that.

Much more embarrassing is seeing fellow fans mocking each other because they missed something good.

I don't mind the opposing fans being clapped, but do we really have to turn on our own fans instead?

The vast majority of fans weren't getting behind their team yesterday. It was turgid.

Which game were you at yesterday ??????? WTF !!!

Thirded. You hit the nail squarely on the head. If you can't commit to being in the stadium for 2 hours then dont effing come. Give up your seat to someone who cares.

there is a very old guy with his grandson who sit next to me and regularly leave at 80 mins on the dot. going by some of the comments on here i should give him a right earful and explain to him how his actions are disrespectful to the players and ask him why he doesnt give his two seats to someone that f***ing cares.
but i think ill just stick to the usual cheerio and see you next time to him and the youngster........if thats ok with the leaving early haters on here!

If he's an old guy then he's more than likely retired. So what exactly is he rushing off to do? Why not stay and enjoy ALL of the game; hang around to soak up the post-match atmosphere for ten minutes and then make your way home. Leaving early is unforgivable except in very rare circumstances. Period.
