According to Jacob Steinberg in the Guardian, we want McKenna from Ipswich. RDZ, according to ‘sources in Italy’ wants a move but hasn’t had any offers.

To be honest I think the loss of Mwepu is overstated by some on here. He was usually the rotation option, rarely had a run of consecutive games. Yes he usually performed well but not enough to permanently dislodge Mac or Bissouma.

Yeah but he was a good rotation option.
The point I replied to was about the options Potter had at his disposal, during his good run.

Mwepu being the 4th best option (excluding Gross) for Potter's purple patch, in comparison to RDZ last season with Mac/Caicedo/Gilmour/Ayari??

I'd say Farioli, but would need TB to ensure the guy would have a Plan B or C should the RDZ style strategies fail against certain teams.
