as much as it’s not our job to look for the manager, i’ll give some serious answers:

carlos corberan
marti cifuentes
míchel
franck haïse
sebastian hoeneß
eric roy
francisco pimienta
henrik rydström
kieran mckenna
kjetil knutsen

sure some of those wouldn’t be what the board would want and we may struggle to attract a couple of them too, but point being that there are definitely options

I despise this narrative that because you think the current guy isn't the right guy that you should know who the right guy is.

I've posted in another thread that I'm just about RDZ out now. I have no idea who the manager should be. But I think RDZ is now doing harm than good.

I assume he wants to get sacked.

We no longer even try to move the ball quickly in the final third.
That was the hallmark of DeZerbi ball.

This intricate Potterball we've been playing for the past couple of months, doesn't work.
He knows that, we know that.

Odd that is all we can come up with.
But if i were a senior player in the team (there are still a few 🤣) I would hope I'd have the balls to try to do the right thing on the pitch.
I think it's unlikely RDZ is insisting they move the ball slowly (so he'll get sacked). IMO it's more likely one or more of the following:
- players have lost some belief in RDZ's methods
- players have lost belief in themselves (RDZ keeps blaming the injuries...so the guys playing are clearly 2ND rate)
- RDZ has had a private offer and is pushing to see if Tony will splash the cash to convince him to stay
- something happened in the dressing room weeks ago after a defeat (when Lallana did that totally weird post match interview...and hasn't been seen in front of a mic since). If Lallana was completely thrown by something, then other senior players would most likely have been too, and junior players would have felt rudderless. Maybe that 'situation' has not been fully resolved.

Surely the solution is a panel of five random members of NSC for each match, as everyone here always knows best?

I’m not fully convinced on RDZ out but what annoyed me was touting himself around for other rolls if you are going to do that at least deliver on the pitch. I can’t help but feel injuries and recruitment have played their part but this can’t have helped.

Add to the fact he can’t get a tune out of these players but insists on playing the same way. Totally crazy.

Will I be happy if he’s still here in August sure. Will I be gutted he’s gone? No.

Team has difficult period so some fans always want the manager sacked. It’s why they wanted Potter gone as well but they now only remember his good form at the end.
Man United fans were the same and wanted Ferguson sacked. Potter was a good manager and De Zerbi is even better. Fortunately Bloom is patient and knows to stick with his manager and support them in the tough times. It is a shame some fans can’t do the same.
Tony sacked Poyet because of his so called antics...RDZs hasn't been far off that over the past month. He's publicly criticised everyone from the hierarchy to young individual players. Risky business that.
