I don't think my colleague has a particularly good NSC record with his tips, but it would be rude of me to not pass it on:-

3:50 Newc Glenard e/w

He's had £25 ew on it.

Is this a licence to print money like your USA v Portugal prediction at 4-1 or whatever? :lolol:

Now hang on a minute, a couple of points of order here:-

1) This is nothing to do with me, just passing on the tip.

B) The USA did beat Portugal over 90 minutes, the stipulated duration of a football match.
Anything after that has nothing to do with me!!

3) Drawing on the last kick (header) of the game, almost validates my point that 4-1 represented good value.

Two threads about the Northumberland Plate then.
Is that the Pitman's Derby thread?
If so how the fook am I supposed to know that's the Northumberland Plate.

This is what the Skybet header looks like:-

3.50 Newcastle- Northumberland Plate- Paying 5 Places
John Smith's Northumberland Plate (Heritage Handicap)

As you have put up a good case for defence i shall accept your reply as fair comment, almost :lolol:

Is this Tip based on inside information or just a calculated assumption? Not being knocky, it's just nice to know...

It's a well known nickname for the race.

Its from a committed gambling horseist former jockey.

Based on:-
- Form being better than it looks.
- Needing a fast run race.
- Having to set the pace last time out.
- Good draw.
- Been held back for the race.

As said nothing to do with me, which is a bonus, just what the man says.

Ah there's the problem then.
I was going by the actual name of what the race is actually called.

My mistake, sorry.

Nothing to do with you?

How did we get the tip?

Ans. YOU passed it on. So it has everything to do with you.

Its if nothing to do with you, why pass it on, no doubt you will take the credit if it comes in though.
