Is anyone else completely baffled as to how this boring, unfunny cock who lacks any social skills whatsoever somehow made it into television?

Christ on a bike, what a waste of space he is. :nono:

If people didn't watch crap like I'm a Celeb, there wouldn't be a need for D-list celebrities such as Timmeh!

Eh? If "I'm a celeb " didn't exist, he'd still be a total cock and my question would still stand.

Although I guess I just wouldn't know what a total cock he really is. As for "I'm a celeb", it's WOMAN TELLY. At least it is in my house, so if I want to speak to Mrs Simster I end up noting the complete bollocks on the telly. :(

I think I understand what you did not mean to say there.

Mallett hadn't been on the tellybox for a good (VERY good) 20-odd years prior to resurfacing on IACGMOOH, and its pretty plain to see why.

The 80's were a strange time for childrens television, you had to be a bit ZANY - Mallett just took it to the MAX. And annoying though he undoubtedly was when I was watching him as a young teen, he was oddly watchable in a "is this really a grown man ?" kind of way. And I had a thing for Michaela Strachan, which usually kept me tuned in.

Mallett was better than Pat Sharpe anyway. Not that thats saying much, but its still a fact.

Sally was alright, but a wee bit too old for me. Early 80's I was only 10.
Now if we're talking Sarah Green circa 1987...

Ahhh Quality ! I was still young enough to appreciate her.

I think Brian Paddick was just a Police Commander for the London borough of Lambeth, not the entire country.
But I agree a reasonably high ranking copper who was a complete goon !!!!

Word. He's a total weed. I can't imagine him ever having the BALLS to take tough decisions. He clearly SNIVELLED his way up the police ladder. :(

Apparently she f***ed her way to the top, which makes me annoyed that I wasn't AT the top myself way back then. :D

I don't remember Pat Sharpe, and given what you say here, that can only be a good thing.

Is a complete goon. Not to mention spineless wimp who couldn't negotiate his way out of a conflict with a Buddhist monk.

Imagine if he'd become Mayor of London:ohmy:
