There's loads of justification as to why Bent's goal is better than Sidwell's, but it wasn't discussed until two days after the Albion block vote was mobilised, took two pages for someone to suggest that it was a fan vote and three pages before someone posted the link. Putting all their in depth talk of technique and chance to one side, here's the reason why Sidwell's goal was better than Bent's: While you were talking among yourselves, NSC said it was.
