Well done.

I had booked a train from Newcastle to Brighton at the cost of £120 in order to see the game. I spent all of Friday and Monday on the phone and the internet trying to get a ticket but couldn't.

Before you say 'you had plenty of time to buy a ticket before last week'; I didn't because my university only confirmed exam dates last Friday so I couldn't be sure that I could make it.

So, thank you for gloating and making my afternoon so much better. :(

Sake. You'd think it was Champions League Final the way some people are going on, rather than a deeply crappy third division relegation decider

well you'd have been better off buying a ticket for the match when you could at a fraction of the cost of the train before you rushed into a £120 trainfare. then if the dates were no good then you would have lost a whole lot less money.

not studying economics are you?

I was booking the train ticket on the internet whilst I was the phone to the club.

Yes, in retrospect it probably would have been better to wait until I had a match ticket confirmed.
