Today, the crowd was flat. Maybe everyone's mojos were low after the last few results. However, after the lineups are announced, they rehash this song AGAIN just before kick off. It's so dull and doesn't get the crowd going at all. Today, all it did was get the Forest fans singing. We must do better.
Am I alone thinking this?

We should have Praise You after games (well, wins). I can't be arsed with Freed From Desire or Ring Of Fire or any of that garbage. Why not give PY a go? It's kind of ours. Anyone see the Leeds fans piling on with I Predict A Riot after they beat Leicester the other week? Was superb, despite being Leeds fans. It's becoming their song. We should do similar.

Hey Jude is a bit Brentford (even though loads of clubs do it). I'm not sure what the answer is pre-match, but there must be something better out there.

I’d be reluctant to rush into decisions on atmosphere based on today, yes it was shit but there are extenuating circumstances (Mothers Day, Rome)

There were hardly any of the regular people around me today in WSL

I believe the pre match mix at The Amex has always been constructed by Richard Reynolds?

Personally don’t have a problem with it, or what happens after the game either, but might be nice to try a few different options out.

Anyone for the 2 songs played before most games during the last few years at the Goldstone?
Paperback Writer and Copacabana 😂

This.

Had new people to the right, left and in front of me in the North today.

As always, we seem slow to get the after match music over the tannoy. Seems a good 30secs/1min after the FT whistle until anything happens.

I don't feel strongly about it, so have voted 'not bothered', but it feels like hey jude is too generic a football song. I don't think I've ever not seen the away fans sing along with their own team name in it.

I leave after the final whistle, or at least retreat . . . its an intolerable din.

I say that as a musician.

SBTS before ther game is great

deafening people with irrelevant tripe is guaranteed to clear the place double quick. . . . Maybe its deliberate. . .

Tony Millard only had two records and both of them were Belinda Carlisle, 'Heaven Is A Place On Earth'.

On another tack, what's "We've got Super Rob de Zerbi" going to be replaced with after Thursday? Injuries and some left field formations have put line 2 in danger, and line 4 is partially true but on his current form not one I would shout about. Line 5 becomes redundant.
