Im not a liar either and I thought we would go up this year and not via the play offs....Whats more I think we will be top 6 next season as well, no doubts..Just look what Millwall, Leeds and Norwich have done this year and we will spend big in the summer.

I was hoping for a play off place, but in all honesty I'd have settled for mid table. An unbelievable season for all of us, and things are looking very rosy for us now.

I remember when Bloom said he wanted a top two finish, and I remember thinking that a little over ambitious. I thought we had a good chance of making the play offs.

Top half with a possible chance of the play offs and I would have been happy with that. Its been a sensational season!

I thought we would be scrapping for the last play-off place. Obviously, I'm over the moon that we aren't.

after last seasons finish, i thought we would have a gallant bid at automatic but fall short, and then cock it up in the play-offs

After the finish to the 2009/10 season I thought that we would push for a play-off spot, never in my wildest dreams did I think that we would go up automatically. With Gus signing Greer and Sparrow from what appreared to be better clubs was a positive. Had to pinch myself every time I looked at the League table to have been top for so long, I'm so glad that I don't have to work out who can catch us now (maths was never my strong point).

That said I have got £10.00 on Saints for promotion doubled if the Albion finished top six, Happy Days.

I did think we'd secure a play-off spot. I saw a stat at the start of the season that was we picked up about just under 40 points in the second half of the season last year. If we could pick up about 40 each half season this year we should be around the play-offs

There I was, pushing my sleeves up,waiting for our relegation battle, miracle escape and rotation of management.

Bloody Poyet's spoiled it all.Now we'll have to buy better players, sit in a comfortable stadium and watch the club go even further forward. In more than 50 years Albioning it has only happened a couple of times before.

Get out the ramipril.

Champions, which is why I had Albion to win the league in an each-way accy with QPR, Cheaterfield and Spurs.

By the way does third place pay out with Paddy Power in these each-way overall season bets?
