What are you going on about........one minute you say 'we could still win the World Cup'...and in the next instance you say 'when we get knocked out he should get the sack'........for fucks sake !!!!!

I was joking dude, chill out. I know we won't win the world cup but was just making reference to the shite panel on ITV who still have faith in the England team. Maybe its only my slightly pissed brain that connected that though, lol. To be honest I will be surprised if we get through to the second round.

Capello must not go. We are shit at the moment, but we have arrived on a coach who knows how to get us out of it. Bollocks to this generation of f***ing pampered pricks. Capello has not become a bad manager overnight we just need to let him shape a team that is completely fre of the baggage of the Lamps/Stevie G/JT/Cashley era. Bollocks to them all. The only one who had any class was Beckham, the rest of them can f*** off.

But he is simply not doing anything to get us out of it. He is just following on from previous managers and has shown nothing that suggests he is capable of shaping his own team. He won't play any youngsters and worse than that, he has brought old has beens like Carragher back into the team. Capello is a joke, a classic "emperors new clothes" manager, with no real tactical ability. He has been lucky to manage a couple of teams full of good players so in spite of him, his teams have done well, simply because of the quality of the players he inherited.

The last couple of games clearly show that he has no idea how to change a game when plan A is not working out, and thanks to the wankers at the FA we are stuck with the Eytie tosser for years to come or we pay him a stupid amount of money to pay him off.

To be fair. The mood I'm in I'd be inclined to agree with you. However, Capello is a world class manager who doesn't become a fool overnight for taking on thEngland job. I firmly believe that if he is making mistakes tghis tournament they will reap dividends in the next campaign. Carragher is a stop gap and Capello must know it. Once a new team shed of the bollocks of "Wags" and the Tim Lovejoy culture of matey football player (despite the fact they earn more in an hour than some people will earn in a year) shit comes in we will be the modest force that we deserve to be. And I can't wait for the day that we can go into a tournament looking forward to ant success rather than this bullshit expectation because a few of our players happen to be favoured by jaded domestic coaches,

It's time for all of the tossers at the FA to go. They kept telling us that the premiershit was formed to make the England team the best in the world. All it was/is is a money making machine.

Time also for subscribers to SKY to tell them to shove their brand of football-let's see how the pampered tossers fare when the money dries up.

Capello is certainly not a fool, who wouldn't work for millions a year then improve your contract even before the tournament starts, no matter how well you do in that tournament.

Yes, the prem players are over hyped, but they do have some talent, it's up to the manager/coach to get the best out of them and quite simply, if he can't, he should stand down.

Capello is being paid how much? £20 million a year or similar.
Capello can't even speak English that well - how the hell does he communicate tactical nuances to his player? Oh wait, there are no tactical nuances...

He is not responsible for the fact that England players cannot trap a ball or pass it to a teammate over ten yards.

Well it is bollocks to say change the manager this SAME group of players have played under a good few managers with different styles and ideas, and they still perform like amateurs. .....ultimately, we are way below what is required to compete with the likes of Brazil,Argentina,Germany,Spain.

Correct. I said on another thread that England will never have a good team until most of the squad play European domestic football against the best players regularly. At the moment we only have 1 striker who does that and 0 goalkeepers. Only 9 of the squad play for teams who play in the Champions League. If you want to be the best, you have to play against the best regularly. Changing the manager will not help that situation.

This does not excuse those who do play in the Champions League from performing like clowns though when they pull on an England shirt.

But it can't just be the players, some of them may be over rated, but they are not as bad as they looked yesterday. Yes they may play without pride or passion, but just what was the plan yesterday? No only did Capello not have a plan B, he didn't really seem to have a plan A! Or was it simply lets lump it forward to Heskey and see what happens! I don't think you need to pay someone £5mil a year to come up with that!

I've said it before, a good manager can have a huge influence on a team, no matter how good or poor the players may be. Just look how Gus turned our season round this year.

Capello has been found wanting at this highest level of world football, but what the f*** does he care, he's not English and he's had an extra 2 years added to his contract so he will pick up around £20mil if we sack him after the tournament.

Capello has won everything in the club game including titles in Italy and Spain. McClaren, despite being pretty horrendous during his time, did well with 'Boro and done wonders in Holland. Sven done a lot before he got the job. The only consistent is the players. Cannot go on blaming the manager(s)

Exactly, the players have to take the blame 100% for being f***ing rubbish. You can't play to a game plan if you can't get the basics right. I'd be too embarrased to even go out today if I was one of the donkeys that played last night.

Capello cannot be held responsible for the way we played last night, unless like the French they just didn't bother to show their complete disdain for the manager, in which case manager and players should be shown the door on our exit.

Oh well he was a bloody genius a few months ago, an nobody was slagging him off before last week. Managers do have influence on performance but it is not just the manager that is ALWAYS to blame whe we play like morons. Sometimes, the players have to put their hands up, Capello out is just a load of over reactionary rubbish after 2 draws. The contractual nouse of the FA however is appalling
