A lot of that is supposition. ....

Not sure that NJ can yet be regarded as a successful coach, and he definitely doesn't have experience of the Championship ... he does speak Spanish though!

Here's Tony Bloom on Nathan's appointment

Oscar was keen to add someone with English coaching experience and a good knowledge of the Championship. Nathan has impressive coaching credentials and we are delighted to have him back at the club

There wasn't a "fence" option which is what I was looking for. Not sure about him to be honest. We do seem to have reached a point in the season when we have stalled and are possibly going backwards. Lack of goals, lack of goal-scorers, lack of team-spirit (first half against Hull), weakened teams for the Hull games, etc.

I've come back home.
I am a little pro-Oscar, I can understand why with some the jury is out, but don't understand why some are so anti-Oscar. I put some of it down to trolling, some down to fishing, some down to a lack of footballing intellect (like the guy next to me at the home Hull game going "attack, attack, attack, attack, attack....") but some seem sensible yet dislike the man who has been dealt from a loaded deck this season (late appointment, injuries etc...).

We are 8th FFS!

Obviously in. Injuries are our biggest problem. We have easily a top 6 squad but with long term injuries to Cms, Hoskins
and Crofts, half season injuries for Briductt, Ulloa and Orlandi and the likes of Buckley, Lua Lua, Andrews, March, Bruno permanently carrying injuries and unable to play more than one game in a row his hands are tied. And this anti Jones thing is clearly barking mad and based on absolutely nothing whatsoever.

In. That might not have been our finest moment last night, but it was better than the gutless performances we telegraphed in under Jimmy Case. Oh yeah, wasn't he an ENGLISH manager, non?

Can someone please remove the poll rights for Ernest just for a bit? Until he calms down and makes a sensible poll contribution.

These inane questions just clutter up the site. He's like a friendly fire troll.

So you don't think questioning the manager after a gutless, spineless performance is sensible ? Maybe you'd just prefer childish polls on animals or your favourite crisp ?

I'd sooner vote on my favourite crisp than allow you to post some reactionary drivel after an FA Cup defeat at the hands of premiership opposition.

Quavers by the way.

That's where I am. Oscar in, but with his own Assistsnt, then let's see what he can do

By all indications then Dale Stephens was Jones signing as all I heard from the club was they worked together at Charlton etc. All our loan signings and signings have Jones DNA all over it.

The in/out poll is just Ernest's usual satire on the impatient fan, which I always find amusing.

But yes there is also a real concern that Oscar isn't making the most of our current squad, and that's a genuine debate among fans, no matter how all the trainee FFP accountants on here want to shut that down.

Isn't it just possible that Nathan Jones recommended dale Stephens, and that Oscar, trusting in his assistant thought he might be worth a look, viewed what might have been presented to him, possibly even went to watch him somewhere, and found that he agreed?

They are part of a team. Some people do not seem to understand what that can mean. maybe there is an element of working together, of singing from the same hymn sheet, of listening to each other, of talking about things, about communicating. messrs Bloom, Barber and Garcia, as presumably the three most important people in the club, are collectively no mugs.

An absolute load of garbage tonight so time to ask the question, is he the right man for the job ?

Are you really serious? I think the poll results so far shows how much in the minority you are.

Agreed last night was bad especially for the first half but is that worth getting another Manager in?

Who would we get anyway?
