Whether that's the case or not, doesn't change my position. I remember pretty dismal performances when he first took over in the championship trying to keep that team in that league. He succeeded.

His next 2-3 seasons were one of the best era's in Brighton's history. And i'm hoping he can turn this poor 2nd half of this season to a much improved season next year with better investment in players.

Fulham, Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal. This was his run-in. He was never keeping them up.
Of course he was never going to keep them up. He has shown us why.
