For entertainment value, to have a fractious and chippy individual like him clash head-on with "one manager per season but we're never given a reason" senior club management?

It'd be like the Titanic and the iceberg all over again: fun to watch certainly but with a disastrous outcome for both parties.

To be fair there is always a high level of snobbery amoungst our support. It feels a bit like the cosmopolitan coffee shop dwelling element tend to not like anyone who don't speak propper! That could be total rubbish, but no more than anyone claiming to have evidence of Tim Sherwood's intelligence levels.

I'm feeling so let down by our last two foreign coaches, mabye a change of direction is needed.

Not sure about the working class credentials of anyone named Tim...

South Today reporter claimed the 'smart money' is on Tim Sherwood. So rumours will gather momentum. It's nothing more than rumours though, yet one of the nationals is already talking as if it's fact. The chances are he may not even be considered.

Bizarre. I wouldn't care if he spoke like Arthur Mullard and Kathy Burke's lovechild if he got us promoted and stuck around for more than one season without making a total cock out of himself. Can't see any of that happening with Sherwood.

Genuinely conflicted about Sherwood.

Clearly he needs to keep his gob under control, you can't go about saying the kinds of things he does about his own chairman and other players and managers every week, the media will leap on it and it just makes an already difficult job harder.

But I just have a feeling that somewhere in there is a decent manager waiting to get out. He has actually done pretty well with Spurs this year in results terms. Players seem a little scared of him, which is all good. He won't tolerate low standards and looks genuinely upset when a team he puts on the field falls well short. Plus he likes to play a brand of football I like to watch.

it is an odd one. recall alot of people nominating him a year ago, now people think he isnt good enough, despite winning 60% of his games. seems loses (admittedly heavy) to the top two teams have given him a bad image in the media, he will get another premiership club on his form.

He looks like the lead singer of 'Crowded House' ..... for that reason alone, not for me.
