If Sherwood is a risk, then I presume you would not want Rangnick, Zola, clement, hoddle or any other manager who has not coached a successful team in the Championship?

Er, that'll be the same Glenn Hoddle that coached Swindon to promotion from the Championship in 1993?

I had nothing against Sherwood until I heard the interview on Talksport today.

He referred to himself in the 3rd person at least twice. I therefore decided I want him nowhere near our club.

Made me cringe as well...

The more I think about it the more certain I am Sherwood is the man for Albion, if we could attract a man of such calibre to the Amex.

I have a long list of pro's:

Speaks very eloquantly
A good looking chap, some eye candy for our gay and female support

On point 1. Have you actually heard him speak? "We was unlucky in that game." etc.

On point 2. Why do you have to be gay or female to appreciate a decent slice of cock? Is this 1970 or 2014?

OK - if tim sherwood is given the job (big if, I know - many issues outlined above) BUT - if.....
here's an obvious song idea

Tim Sherwood, Tim Sherwood
Riding through the glen
Tim Sherwood, Tim Sherwood
With his Brighton men
Feared by the bad
Loved by the 'hood
Tim Sherwood,
Tim Sherwood
Tim Sherwood

To the tune of Robin Hood - I know, its obvious, but...

Not be read as a personal endorsement - these things work in ways known only to TB and the powers that be....

don't give up your day job !

Three main cons for me:

1. I'm not convinced that he knows what he is going to say until he has already said it.
2. I'm not convinced he knows what he is going to do until he has already done it.
3. His approach to man management and motivation looked very short term and one dimensional.

What I would like about appointing sherwood is that it would show that everything behind the scenes isn't as bad as some have suggested. As if some of the stories are to be believed: Oscar's hands being tied and the "hitting the ceiling" quote there is no way someone like TS would take the job. I imagine TB/PB will have to show the Albion to be quite an attractive proposition for TS to take it. Sherwood's next job will be the 1st he truly gets judged upon and I'm sure he knows he needs to get this decision right.
