I get your point but it just doesn't affect anyone but mr peake as he got the golden ticket....I'm surprised anyone can actually get excited about this as its just so so so boring.
The fact you have 3 different nationals also makes it a bit rubbish....Now if it was 3 Brits taking off in Britain to space this might improve things.

Absolutely.
The fact that we can knight ex-footballers and pop stars but not astronauts like Maj. Peake (or Helen Sharman, for that matter) or scientists like Stephen Hawking seems wrong to me.
