Tim Lovejoy to be sports presenter on BT Vision

An odious odious man. Truly ignorant and lacking in any charm, wit, or demonstrable passion for the game beyond Chelsea.

Probably never been closer to smashing up a radio than when he was hosting a 606 show before a Man U-Chelsea fixture where he repeatedly argued that John Terry's suspension following a red card should not apply for this fixture because it was in these big matches with people round the world watching on TV that 'you want to see the best players'. You could roll that thought round in your head for hours and still not have arrived on quite how arrogant, irresponsible and stupid it really is.

Lovejoy was and still is a boring non entity, a Watford fan who converted to Chelsea, and I can't imagine who would want to read his thoughts or recollections on any subject.

The brains and wit behind the programme were Fenners and the others, and some great guests.

The cardboard and overrated (by himself solely) Lovejoy was just an uncharismatic bore.

Probably worth pointing out that he's presenting a Saturday morning sports show (sound familiar?) but little/nothing else.

Not like he's going to be the 'face' of BT Sport or present real sports coverage...

I expect this to go the same way as ITV Digital to be honest, would be shocked if it's still going in two or three years time.

Prepare to be 'shocked' then. It's a three-year min deal for Premier League. Also, BT is MINTED.
