at Indian Wells Masters.
I know he gets a really hard time, but I don't think its his fault.
He's a top class tennis player and when he's not around, I reckon everyone will miss him. He's not the best, but he is bloody good and if you have any interest in tennis at all, make the most of him because he won't be around for long and when he's gone there aint nothing else to shout about.
Good work Tim, its just a shame that when you play at Wimbledon you're surrounded by middle aged women, Cliff Richard and idiots that suggest you choke when you lose to Samprass. Twats. Rant over.

Agreed n1. His record at Wimbledon is great. I fear that his real chance to win was lost when the weather forced the match with Ivanisavic to be stopped, as he had him on the rack.

However, all may not be lost, this Murray looks a good prospect. But we're unlikely to ever be a strong nation at the game.

Tim Henman is a very good tennis player.

He is also an irritating, clean-cut, smug, Daily Mail sterotype Tory boy with a personality by-pass.

He belongs in that box marked Cliff Richard, Princess Camilla and Geoff Hoon. You can't quite explain why you can't stand them, but you just can't.

Does anybody actually give a flyer about puny-fisted Tim-nice-but-inept anymore? More hen than man, a long and mediocre career as a 'nice' BBC presenter awaits. And probably a gong of some sort. Bottler of the British Empire perhaps? Come ON Tiger Tim!

No. Keeping tennis the preserve of the terribly-nice middle-class tennis clubs will ensure that British tennis stays mediocre forever. I blame the Henman parents. Scary fuckin' dudes and no mistake. Give the idiot savant Wayne Rooney a tennis racquet and British tennis would inherit the earth.

We need more idiots swinging rackets. Get pikeys and yobs off the streets and onto a tennis court - and watch as those numbskulls thrash and swear Britain into the history books.
We'll be just like the Americans, loud hated gits intimidating all and sundry and scaring old codger linesmen.

"f-ing get it there you caaaant"
"f you for calling that one out, f-ing old bastaaaad"
"that woz the best serve you ever seen, so f-you"

We'll scare those johnny foreigners into submission and Wimbledon is ours!

He has improved British tennis without winning any major tournaments. He plays good tennis, but when he gets to the semi finals or quarters of a cup he runs out of steam.

Both Henman and Ruesdeski (sorry can't pronounce his name) have done very well, and have always been under pressure to win major tournaments.

it is not henman's fault that he has been around at the same time as two greats sampras and federer. He is a quality player but the affor mention are better his year to win a grand slam was when he lost to isanisevic in the semi's but i guess the rain and isanisevic being amazing kind of conspireded against him shame really.
Tim you are a legend :clap2:
