Resigned as Lib Dem leader stating he can't be both a 'committed Christian' and lead a political party.

Admirable stance in this day and age.

I genuinely feel for him in the election. Stuck his head above the parapet by suggesting a second Brexit vote to try and attract the Remain bods wanting a best of 3, and no bugger voted for him.

I guess that confirms the fact he's not American.

If your definition of admirable is believing gay sex is a sin, then yes.

The man's a buffoon.

It's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for the leader of the Lib Dems to enter the kingdom of heaven

I prefer our politicians to be logical, thoughtful people who make rational decisions based on known facts. And therefore not overly religious please.

Seems the media was rightly onto this during the election campaign.

So this basically means he can't get over hating gays, right?

Yeah it's really admirable that he's given up a career in public service all because he's not altogether keen on the idea of what other men do with their knobs.

A hero for our time.

He voted in favour of same sex marriage so doesn't 'hate gays'. What he found was the media concentrated on his beliefs rather than policies. Tolerance can be a one way street at times.

I,m not keen on any politician who thinks there is a greater power than our law makers.
