Last time we played Fulham the attendance was around one and a half thousand and we won an exciting 3-2 on a James Virgo golden goal.

I don't think this one can possibly live up to that.

That was a belter of a game...

We,ve bought 5 tickets.I dont watch any football in the summer live or on tv so am in need of a fix, though I agree that Fulham & Reading are hardly attractive premiership opposition.Maybe next season the club should think about playing someone we haven't played for donkeys years or a foriegn side, it doesnt need to be a massive name just someone to raise a bit of interest.
Also what about making it kids for a quid all around the ground for friendlys?

Sure i'll go but will buy tickets next wk as there's no hurry - Same with Reading (Skum poaching TWATS)

Same as BensGrandad really - didn't realise it was quite soon either...

Friendlies are just NOT for fans.

They for
Players (to get fit)
Managers (to see if the players are fit/any good)
Agents (to see if there is any taklent there to explout)

quite honestly they are of no interest to me whatsoever and yet they castigate us for not spending £10 on seeing Fulham (and prey tell me who they have playing for them that anyone's ever heard of)

if it was a saturday afternoon then maybe you might get a better crowd - but is wilkins really suprised given the dire performances his team put out last season that people don't want to sit through 90 minutes of pain, which is also completely meaningless, on a friday night?

night on the town is much more appealing than watching charlie oatway wander cluelessly around a pitch

Agree, but I got told I was a :tosser: for saying this last week.

This £10 a ticket is a load of old bollocks. Yes they are £10 in the South Stand with no reduction for OAP.

I have 3 x ST in the North Stand and have just purchased 1 x OAP @£12 1x Disabled @£12 and 1x Child under 16 @ £8 and the total taken was £32.50 so presumably there is a booking charge of 50p even for paying cash at the office.

ITV Meridian here in Haywards Heath, which Meridian Kent have just announced that BHA have reduced the tickets to £10 so I have sent them an email stating that the news item does not give a true picture of the prices.

When will Brighton learn and instead of making a song and dance about the price only being £10 and trying to deceive people, include ALL of the information. I would still have bought the tickets but was expecting to pay concession prices on all at £10 per adult.

Aren't most events/games/products advertised at the cheapest possible deal, BG? All the prices were on the website. It is annoying though, I agree. When you go to buy tickets for a concert or something similar and you pay something like 10% of the ticket price booking the bloody thing!

would have gone but i'm not in the country, but to only sell 900 odd tickets is a disgrace. Really don't get Brighton fans every season it was why no home friendlies and now they are at home no one goes. Would be a good friday night go watch that and into town after

Exactly. It is cheap a nice start to the night and it breaks up the boozing, rather than drinking from 5.30 and getting hammered by 11pm.

An utter disgrace if we do not sell more than 1,500 or so. I would really question whether we need such a big stadium - friendly or not.

If it had been on a Saturday I would have gone, but I can't guarantee being finished at work in time for evening games.

Is everybody really THAT jaded by the recent lacklustre performances that they're getting snotty about the visit of Premiership teams, albeit only in a friendly? If so, it don't bode well for Falmer, let alone the coming season. The club that died of apathy?

Although NSC is not representative of The Albion support it does appear that there are more souls than ever before, that can't be arsed. We have too many plastics maybe? What about all those that turned up to see Forest play after two dire seasons at The Priestfield. Our team certainly has more promise than that squad. Or did they just want the programme et al for Brighton's return.

Catch 22 - The play will continue to be dire if we do not show our support and 'readies'.
