City fans clearly so terrified of being Glenn Murray-ed they can't bring themselves to watch it first hand

I took the wording from the club website article...

"Brighton & Hove Albion have received an additional allocation of approximately 1500 pitch-side seats..."

Fair enough. It would be a fine effort is that is correct as it would mean we have sold over 33,000, however, the same article states we have sold over 30,000.

How many we got can be worked out. Upper tier holds 39165, we have exactly half at the moment. Half of 501 covers for half of 527 to give us half of upper tier so 19,582.5 (lol not sure who has the half seat) - seats not sold yet

Middle tier is a bit tricky, total is 16,532 and we have 4.5 blocks. Does anyone know how many to a block?

Lower holds 34,303 half is 17,151 - seats not sold - 144 (not our block) 143 and 123 (need to know number of seats in block are ours and minus club Wembley seats)

I'm using a ticket obtained by someone who can't go; in a higher bracket than I qualified for, because I'm occasionally panicky and thought it'd sell out. And its quite a nice location too.

Did find the accusatory email today from the club basically going "YOU QUALIFY, BUY A TICKET YOU *******!" a bit OTT :p

Must admit to being tempted now. As a non-STH and non-member I would have (rightly) been at the end of the queue and picking a location up in the Gods had I bought a membership. But I am guessing I could now buy this new membership package plus a seat in this new pitchside batch?

Only NSC could find the news that we have got an additional allocation for a big game something to moan about it.

(A bit like opening the upper tiers at The Amex) I wonder if they will open up more blocks of seats for us before a complete sell out is achieved.

People who don't fancy sitting right at the back might well be more interested in better seats lower down. Presumably Wembley and BHAFC both want to sell as many tickets as possible...?
Well done to those involved. (I am assuming this is a genuine additional allocation).

If aimed at me then I appreciate my tone may have sounded negative. I’ve since been told this is a genuine additional allocation which means it was not in the power of the club to release those better seats first, so my moan was invalid.

It’s a great acheivement that over 33,000 tickets have been sold to either season ticket holders/members or their friends.

Now is the time though to open it up to a general sale, sell out what we have left then go and ask for some more than City can’t sell, and flog them too

I wonder how much additional demand there is out there. I bought my STH +2 earlier today for two people who wanted to come but had no way of obtaining a ticket.

How many more like this are out there?
