Tickets for away fans: cheaper than they used to be?

One of the Rovers fans at work was saying how a few of his mates are heading down for the game tomorrow and how they'd said it was cheaper than last year's game - being £20 for adults.

I've just been onto their site and that is indeed the case.

It strikes me as strange that we have seemingly lowered the price for away fans to a level below that for Albion fans. Although the view is shit I suppose.

with this being our third year at withdean the majoroty of clubs have been to withdean and so 'ticked it off the list'. Cant see us being a favourite away day to return to and as people are tightening up their purse strings i think its a fantastic idea by the club

It is such an abysmal situation and view I don't think we can have too many complaints about that, very sensible from the club - and you don't know what's gone on behind the scenes. It wouldn't surprise me to learn there had been complaints at a high level from visiting clubs after pressure from their fans.

How about reducing the East Stand price too?

A £15.00 price would make that area, a fair distance from the pitch, affordable.

Yes, I was trawling through other clubs websites the other day to investigate ticket prices for upcoming away games and noticed the price for Withdean is now £20. They also do an U21 price of £13 I think, and U10s get in for £1 (something noone else does I believe). Previously we were taking the piss, but those prices I think are actually really reasonable. Hopefully it'll tempt some more away fans to come here.

Was all set to go to Roots Hall next Friday but won't be able to now.

Point is though, when I looked on our website I see they are doing a family ticket Adult + kid for £ 15 ( in advance ). That's really good. Don't remember paying that price at Southend last season though.
