Season ticket holders should f*** emselves if they think they shold get priority for this. Just because you can afford to splash out for a season ticket doesn't mean that you should get priority for everything under the sun. I bet you think you should be able to jump the queue in the club shop as well or get a special little gold star above the albion badge on your shirt to show everyone how f***ing special you are.

Innit.

Yeah, just because we pay a chunk of money up front each year which is essential for the clubs finances and go home and away why should we expect any loyalty from the club ?:censored:

Sorry if it sounded a bit over the top but i hate it when season ticketers get on their high horse over priority every time a situation like this comes around. I couldn't afford to buy a season ticket but got to all the games i could this year at home. Should i have less priority than you because i gave less omney to the club, do you really believe that. You get priority for EVERY other game like this, a free ticket for the first cup game (although that can of worms can stay shut) and paly LESS per game than someone who has to pay game by game.

So, i ask you, should somebody that doesn't buy a season ticket but goes to every home game and buys a league cup ticket because that is the way he wants to go about it have priority over YOU because he gives the club more money?

1. If it wasn't for season ticket holders who backed the club at Gillingham and Withdean, the club wouldn't exist. Fact.

2. As usual Uncle Buck is speaking words of wisdom.

I think the big difference is season ticket holders have to fork out large amounts of cash over a short period of time, which essentially under pins the club in the summer, whilst a non season ticket holder who goes to every game, gets to spread the cost over 9 months. So yes season ticket holders should be given priority.

I agree with Dandyman here. Season ticket holders deserve at least some loyalty from the club.

I also think that the club has done very well to shift so many tickets in just 2 days.

There is no doubt that season ticket holders' money keeps the club afloat throughout the summer and is what fills the transfer kitty etc, but on this occasion, with everybody pretty much guarenteed a ticket, I don't feel giving them proirity would be justified. It is fair enough to let them for games where tickets are limited, but I would be surprised if anyone missed out on a ticket for Cardiff.

We mustn't lose sight of the fact that there will be 30,000 of us there for the club's single biggest day out in 13 years, so if we are promoted come 5pm, will anyone really care to much where they are sitting?

And will people leave early?

fair points. It just annoys me, that is all.

Prioroty here, priority there.

Will the season ticket holders at Gillingham (i was one of them) still be bleating on for priority seating at Falmer (touch wood).

I respect season ticket holders for coughing up the cash up front, it's a heel of a lot especially considering we didn't know what sort of season we would have and with no real prospect yet of Falmer, but I think it is also worth remembering that there are blokes who went week in week out when football wasn't so expensive and ticket (or indeed pay on the gate) were an option. these guys kept the club alive during the early 90s when it genuinely did look like it was going to the wall.

Due to the capacity of the stadium, season tickets have been the only way to guarentee seeing every match, but unfortunately for some people (not myself, I don't get one through choice and work) it just isn't an option becasue money is too tight.

As I have said, everyone will get a ticket and the ticket office have done a superb job.

Let's enjoy Sunday.
