Ticket sales for pre season friendlies

I here that ticket sales for our 2 home pre season friendlies have been extremely poor even though the ticket prices have been cut dramactially.

Hadn't even thought about that but looking at the availability online the Villarreal game is going to be a very small crowd.

That seems a bit unfair to the other players though. Also no travel voucher. Poor excuse. Tickets are only £12 each, so maybe the £10 saving could be spent on travelling?.

Not a lot of transfer movement, therefore no new players to get excited about enough to watch a friendly. I would have gone to Lewes but it's only the DS.

I agree with Saturday, who the **** are Villarreal?....high profile my arrse.....but strangely I think there may be more watching Norwich....maybe 8k ish.

Maybe it's because we haven't really made any exciting signings.

If a few new flashy signings had been made people might get along to see them.

As it is now, it's pretty much the same old same as last season.

This is a very misleading figure though as there are thousands of 1901 seats for which this game is free. If they all turn up, or have given their seats to people who will, it's a very different gate.

Newport County crowd looks very low as well, but hopefully a fair few will buy nearer the time.

I'm going on Saturday, £30 discount (x 3 of us so £90 saving) on a ticket to sit close to the dug out to try a part of the ground I have never been in - absolute bargin
