Brain dead MUG SHEEP
Renewed two season tickets on Saturday, using the 5 instalment plan, which starts debiting instalments from the last day in May. All fine so far.
So I go to the bank today to get some beer tokens out, and discover a balance that is suddenly £547 short of what I expected it to be....they've managed to deducted the cost of the tickets in ONE hit.
I've just got off the phone to the legendary scottish chap in the ticket office, and in fairness he could not have been more helpful. He apologised profusely and is arranging for an immediate refund, which should hit my account by Monday - Tuesday at the lastest, and he'll refund any bank charges incurred as a result (although there won't be any).
Seems I'm not the only one though, as there had been one or two others apparently - the same member of staff who processed the app, and he'll be "reiterating to them to be more careful in checking whic boxes have been ticked on the applications".
So anyone else paying in instalments, I recommend you have a quick snifter at your account balance, just to be sure....
Oh and to scottish bloke for sorting it out with a minimum of fuss.
