Expecting an email from Paul Barber soonest saying seat numbers will be noted and any season ticket holders who have loaned (sold) their tickets will have them withdrawn as it's against the rules.

I am hoping to suprise them with 3 tickets to the Manchester City game. There’s a lot of hypocrisy on here, hundreds of us did same at Villa.

“Hundreds” of us created a new account on the Villa forum days before that game, created a new thread saying that we lived in Brum and had family coming over from abroad who were keen Villa fans, that neither they nor we knew any Villa STH, but could we please have 3 tickets?

And not one person has commented on away fans getting tickets in the home stands - only on the method of going about it, and on whether or not the OP is or is not an away fan.

It’s just fans trying to be resourceful as we all have to be in these days of ST culture, hysterical segregation issues and the all round aggro that comes with organising a trip to football these days. Christ it was bad enough at Wembley with 20k+ seat unsold.

I’d say there were at least a hundred of us in the top half of the main stand at Villa alone. Sorry if you don’t believe but then if you weren’t there then you won’t have seen. Four of us all sat on our hands when Murray scored. But many more didn’t!

I wasn't there because I couldn't get a ticket. And the reason I couldn't get a ticket was because the first wave of tickets sold out the allocation. And
the reason why they sold out was because those ****ers at Villa didn't give us any more tickets which they'd managed to do for other clubs. And yet,
lo and behold, tv footage showed huge swathes of empty seats in the home villa parts of the ground. A bit different you'll agree to the
scenario under discussion.
