Its been rumbling around of Eastbourne for a while now and it is getting a lot darker, storms imminent I'd say.

I can hear a distant rumble from the sea, and it's getting very dark out there.

I remember thunderstorms at this time of year used to follow heat waves that were several days long. Now its rain followed by more rain and the odd appearance of the sun.
