I've just experienced my very first incident of a Thundersnow!!

According to the Met Office, you only hear the thunder 2-3 miles away.

Yep. An active cold front is passing over. Quite lively.

Must admit, living on a hill and hearing the wind I was a tad concerned. It did seem to come out of no where. The radar seems to have a long line of deep red which is spreading across us.
