Reading elsewhere, it was a squall that started at Selsey Bill, rolled along the coast to Beachy Head in 30 odd minutes.Wtf... when has there ever been thunder in January!?!

The probability of being struck a second time is exactly the same as the probability of being struck a first time.Yes,they do say if you are hit by lightning then it's highly likely you will be hit again.
