A ton for your estate?

Ah that explains why the dog has gone all frantic.
Blimey, it seemed like we had 10m of rain last night.

Great Minds and Idiots. And I see the regulars are on board Lamie and Coldean
I did mine a couple of hours ago and have just come in and found this thread
Over the years and seasons, you’ve taught us all well
You've now got me worried about the seeding. Weed and Feed today, rain (hopefully tomorrow), seeding two weeks time ?
A 4 week interval if your feed included a weed and/or moss killer. Otherwise just 3 days.

Daytime soil temps in early October will still be way above the critical 13C for overseeding.

It was on special offer at the Garden centre. End of September will have to suffice
Ordered mine through Amazon.
Do you ever use Rushfields? I like the 5 minute drive.
Rushfields do great food
I tend to find Garden centres do great plants or great food, never normally both (although I'm cheap and will pick up a bargain anywhere).
I like Notcutts at Ditchling for plants, pricey but excellent displays/plants. One of the regulars on here (maybe Lamie?) recommended Big Plants at Washington and I love them. But it is BIG plants, worth going just for a look around
Rushfields - I’ve met my parents at the cafe a few times, also taken my kids there when younger. Lovely but pricey farm shop … those pies and cakes!
Notcutts - we used to like seeing all their Xmas lights etc and another nice cafe.
I’m really fussy on plants, I created a database of those that meet precise requirements, garden centres rarely have them. So I use c. 10 online suppliers such as Claire Austin, Ballyrobert and Burncoose. We visited RHS Wisley for the first time in June, it’s nursery shop is incredible.
