Very heavy rain here in the 'Pool at the moment. According to that website, the lightning is creeping in our direction.
Sadly, I think you will find it heading North East rather than North, its called The Coriolis Effect. I'm in Worthing so might be really lucky and catch the edge of it but it's probably Eastbourne / Hastings bound.

It's complicated but, weather features such as storms do not usually move directly North or South due to the rotation of the Earth.Okay, I don't know of The Coriolis Effect, is that anything to do with the south downs working its magic? I do know that we are pretty much in the driest part of the UK.
