Happy Anniversary! And very posh, are the G&Ts still £15 a pop?! Was opposite there this afternoon and bought a book in the high street, how funny!

Cheers, not sure about the G&T, but the afternoon tea was pretty reasonable at £60.
Its just a bit indulgence, which makes it all the better.
I had the chocolate Assam tea, whilst Mrs AR had mint, with a great selection of food.
Recommend it.
Still raining here though.

Massive crack of thunder and the skies just opened in Farversham. High wind and TORRENTIAL rain. Bloody marvellous as my extension had just had its roof made good

According to the link in my post above, you've got a lot more to come.

See above....

Joking aside, yes, that storm site is brilliant. Rain easing off here for the moment, but lightening still sparking (counting...11 miles away).

Oh, hang on, rain like a mentalist* with a hose again....

*A Partridge word - not a slur against the Brexitly challenged :lolol:

It is global warming and we're gong into another ice age (either that or a bit of weather) <sigh>:thumbsup:

The clouds seem to be clearing a bit so we may see the lunar eclipse, after all. It's due to start in 5 mins and last for 1.5 hours.

Took the dog for a walk in pissing rain and it was absolute bliss.

...until I got home, as I'd forgotten what a pain in the arse it is to dry him.
