While I really dislike VAR, if they changed the rules to make it only players feet offside and stop this arm nonsense, it would still be as crazy. There would be toes millimetres offside or feet when running judged to be offside, or something mental to do with a players laces.

Offside rule needs to be judged by the feet. Absolutely ludicrous to do it from the shoulder/hand/index finger.

No, it's only for goals, penalties, red cards and mistaken identity.

It's for offsides. Every time a goal is scored, they look to see if it can possibly be disallowed for obscure and un-noticed offside (preferably several moves later, as demonstrated at The Amex today) - and if anybody tries to tell you otherwise they're a liar, and if you believe 'em you're a fool
