It is explained slightly more thoroughly in this article, but basically someone has put together an algorithm to find the three most used words on Twitter to describe each Premier League club.

Ours are apparently 'automatic', 'glad' and 'gay' while our friends from Croydon get 'safe', 'international' and 'cool'.

Not shocked by ours. Almost every club that tries "banter" with an Albion fan eventually leans on all of us being gay...

Palace must be chuffed to see the word "Glad" associated with us.

Original thread started on reddit.com/r/

Comments from the guy below.

Data set: /r/soccer comments 6/2016 - 5/2017, downloaded from https://bigquery.cloud.google.com/dataset/fh-bigquery:reddit_comments
Algorithm:
Count team name/adjective pairs used in the same sentence.
Filter out blacklisted adjectives (nationalities, colors, ...).
Exclude N most popular adjectives: they are too generic.
Score adjectives. Promote somewhat unusual words.
Take top 3 adjectives per team.

Presumably Palace get cool due to all the replies to Tweets about the Spurs ninjas being great and stuff.

COOL story Bro.

I call bullshit. Some of those are just nonsense that he has clearly made up.

The BBC really has gone to the wall in the last couple of years.
