Yes I remember that game well and believe Forest then signed him on the back of it pretty much?! I was quite excited when we signed him after that because of that one game also.

There were a few players signed in that era I got my hopes up about that never really worked out - David Livermore was another one that springs to mind and another Davies - Craig.

Worth a rewatch . What a game.
Davies as good as I remember . He looked destined for greatness until breaking his leg at forest.

Good find! As you say, incredible game. Those end of season/play off games are quite special aren't they?! Watching that is another reminder of just how shit football is without fans in the ground though.

His second goal is magic, fantastic ability and coolness. Real shame he didn't fulfil his potential.

So - the legend that is Russell Salde, Hughton's ex friend Colin Calderwood (how could anyone leave Chris for Steve Bruce?!), Nathan Jones (You've been gone too long), and of course Davies. Any I've missed?
