Superb season-don't agree what Gus did saturday-love him and hope he is here for years to come/expect him to manage at the very highest level, but do not agree with everything he does, never one to slag the team off, will be happy with 7th place if i am honest..

So would that also apply to a Brighton fan living elsewhere in the UK who supports the club because of a family link and does his best to get to games when he can? Guessing not. Prat.

But demonstrate your indepth knowledge of the game by giving your considered thoughts on tactics and formations, as they apply to your or any other club, and I might yet change my opinion of you.

If it makes you feel better, I don't intend to post often - for obvious reasons -but it seems some appreciate a neutral viewpoint now and again, so I might do so at some time in the future if I spend a bit more time joining the old man on his jaunts.

Please don't let Mutts Nuts views stop you from posting, there's plenty like him on here but plenty more with a bit more about them

Personally, I think if you sign a quality ‘keeper, central midfielder and strong all round striker (good luck finding one!) / develop an existing one, you’ll have all the tools to play in a slightly more attacking style and go up – the sight of Lua Lua, Buckley, Vicente and a strong all-round striker bombing forward, but with strong defensive cover, would be a frightening prospect.
Absolutely agree with every word of that (and the rest). Those are the three key positions that, if addressed well, could propel us from a top 8 side into a side chasing auto-promotion. Regardless, we have plenty to build on, and are only going to improve.

Very well put forward analysis as well, would much rather read the thoughts of an educated neutral than some of the repetitive dirge that gets spouted on here week in, week out.
