Chose my team 30 years ago and since then my heroes have been Keegan, Channon, Ball, Shilton, Shearer, the Wallace brothers, MLT, Bale, Walcott etc etc. Not only that but i've had the previledge of watching the likes of Beckham, Ronaldo, Gerrard, Henry, Waddle, Gazza, Barnes etc the list is endless, and all this every season.

So actually no, I clearly made the right decision.

Just so you know how much you are hated round here I will tell a story from 12/13 years ago. Last game of season, Manure v Saints, 30 blokes who hadn't worked together for at least five years hired a bar and invited all their family and friends to a 'Scummers' going down party. The bar was packed as everybody believed you had been punching well above your weight for a long time, and local TV was licking your arse too. Unfortunately you got away with it again, but now the chickens are home to roost. If you don't get up this season then your benefactors will probably walk away leaving you as the second or third tier club that you really are.

Actually Saints and Albion were doing OK in div 1 at the time. To a 7 year old they were equals. Just preffered red & white. No n.one can deny I made the better decision

i don't dislike Southampton particularly, I do however really dislike Dean hammond after his c*ntish celebrations after scoring last season. therefore would enjoy winning the game immensely just to shut him up. But southampton I don't have a problem with, have far far far more dislike for Pompey than them, now Pompey fans truly are a bunch of arogant tossers.
