Agreed. Send him out on loan. Anywhere that isn't our club is good enough. 300k is nothing to Bloom. As long as they pay his wages and stop him being a negative bastard for the fans and players, he can go anywhere.

Yes I was there today and yes I did hear people booing and slagging him off when he came on long before the so called episode with ignoring the fans at the end of the match which incidentally I believe has been exagerated out of all proportion.

It was nothing he chose not to applaud the arseholes who had been booing him and slagging off his wife/girlfriend that is his perogative. His contract does not stipulate that he must applaud every Tom Dick and Harry supporter just because they pay their admission money to get into the game.

I dont care whether he loves or hates BHA fans provided he can score 15 goals between now and Christmas when we sell him.

Really??? It wasn't the odd supporter. There were a lot behind him today. The large majority from what I heard and saw. I didn't even hear the booing that you say was happening before the end of the game.

He had the support of 40-50% of fans today and the 'not applauding' lost most of the people including me. We were willing to give him a chance. You are among the 5% of people that think he is bigger than our club. He's not, and you are wrong.

On your figures je didnt have the support of between 50 - 60% , which is the majority, of the supporters who were in the main booing him when he came on.

If that many supporters were booing him, I must have been drunker than I thought, cos not a single soul near me was, nor could I hear it.

Methinks you are talking bollocks.

I'm not sure I get what you mean as there seems to be a bit of French in there. But most of the fans were silent and undecided. I was in that bracket and I heard a lot more people singing his name than not. And the wife chants were banter and in favour of him staying. He was BACKED by the fans until he blanked all of us. Even the ones in support. The guy got what he asked for.

Agreed 100%.

Anything I heard about his Mrs, whilst perhaps not the most tactful, was humorously ultimately asking him to stay with us.

you clearly werent their then prick, cos i was i their was loads of so called fans slagging him,and his mrs off, ashamed to call yourself fans PRICK

I was there and that is f***ing bollocks, fans were saying "dump the wife", hardly abuse? In fact it is positive because it proved the fans wanted him to stay and his wife to go! Murray's name was also chanted when he came on too.

I was always trying to defend the lad, but as of yesterday he can fukc off back to Cumbria and try and get back in his birds good books after f***ing around down here.

He had more than 40-50% support today when he came on, more like 80% singing his name.

Bollocks, how much did you drink before the game?

the only slagging off was for the goalkeeper Price. It is vaguely possible that a thought crossed Murray's mind that this was directed at him but the huge applause he got after he passed Price would have convinced any person with some sense that Murray was being given a great send off, one to match the reception he received.

If you are spending 70 mil in a ground whats 300,000? Let him rot in the reserves.

Its just this mentality that got the World economies in the state they are in.

A little while ago fans were ever so grateful to Bloom for digging deep for the stadium. Now some are treating his contribution quite matter of fact and demanding he pisses another £300,000 up the wall.

I suspect you are a member of the young "must have it all now" generation.

As i have said on the other threads on this matter, when Murray came on he got nothing but loud cheers from most, if not all of the magnificent fans that support this club and pay his wages. Also as said by others, the only thing said a gainst him was a tongue in cheek pop at him telling his missus to go. This cannot, and should not, result in a professional footballer acting the way he did, he SHUNNED the team huddle and walked off ignoring the fans too, that's when he was booed and as far as i was aware never before.

imo, the guy should NEVER wear the brighton shirt again.

I wasn't there, but from this thread I gather he simply declined to pretend feelings he doesn't actually have?

Do people really NEED for the player to make false gestures?
I agree he ought to be allowed to leave, but he is a decent footballer and he also committed himself to this club - so he should keep his head down and play his best for us until he gets an interested buyer making a decent offer.
I don't care so much that he doesn't applaud fans or kiss the shirt - just be a professional in the job at hand.

The issue for me is not that he did not applaud the fans, but that he made a deliberate, calculated attempt to snub the fans, players and club in general.

I presume if he scores in our next game (something no-one else has managed to do for us yet this season) all these fans calling for his head will refuse to celebrate then?
