Im no United lover but if you lot and craggy Redknapp think that 1 penalty decision made all the difference in that game i rekon ur all way off the mark !! Spurs are powder-puff, always have been, always will be.

Word

Some truly IRRESISTABLE football from United to seal an UNBELEIVABLE comeback. Reminisent of the 5-3 at White Hart Lane a few years back.

Breathtaking stuff!

To all the posts since my last in this thread, :lolol: .... ???

They would have lost that match if Howard Webb hadn't presented them a penalty for no good reason. Once they got the first they were unbelievably good, obviously you can't argue with that. But that one decision let United back into the match unfairly, and the result is unfair on Tottenham as a result. Once again, Man Utd get the referee decision just when they needed it most, at Old Trafford...

Would utd have been so dominant if they were down to ten men, had webb booked scholes for the three very bookable fouls he did before the ref reached for his pocker?

Who knows? But what we do know is they beat a Tottenham side who didn't have the balls to go out second half and battle because (like i said in my earlier post), they are bottlers of the first degree :)

Fortunately every team won't collapse like Spurs, so here's hoping Liverpool can take them to the wire and other teams can show a bit more resolve against United than Spurs appear to have done. Did Harry have a bet or was he down to the bare bones of his squad?

I am a closet Spurs fan from my childhood when they did the double and having watched the replays I think that it was definitely a penalty as Carrick pushed the ball wide of Gomez and was then pulled down. If the same thing happened to Murray or Forster I would expect a penalty.

The only consolation is that the best team in the Premiership will rightfully win the title with trhe help of this result.

Further confirmation you really haven't got a clue about football. :dunce: How anyone can say it was a deffinite penalty is beyond me...

Having seen the replay on MOTD, it probably WAS a penalty, although you could make that Gomes got the man first and THEN ball.

A fairly normal and understandable mistake that you see all the time these days, but because it's a big game at Old Trafford and goes in Man U's favour, it gets blown out of proportion.

Just got back from Manchester, good weekend, good trip, spoilt by some bald headed c'unt.
Yet again, we had to play against 12 men. The only positives, i'm taking from this, is that them scouse twats wont win the league, couldn't bear seeing them win the league.

I dont think we would have won yesterday, even if that wouldn't have been given a penalty, but, we certainly wouldn't have lost and if we had, it wouldn't have been 5 f***ing 2. Man Utd, are the best team in the world, and they proved that yesterday.

Just a shame that the goal [dont know which one, I'd lost count], that went 'alf a yard over, got given, yet Mendes' one didn't. Maybe the Linesman Man Utd scarf didn't get in the way this time.

We need f***ing 3 wins out of the last 4 games now, to get 7th, which is still possible, but a points yesterday would have been massive.

C'mon you Spurs!

HAHA unlucky Spurs, Sherwood can on at halftime petrified Man Utd would still come back.....5 goals later, premiership more or less wrapped up!

Living 5 mins walk away from Old Trafford I have been to a few games and from what I have heard within the ground and the players coming in the summer, Man Utd are going to be breathtaking next season.

Still enough about them, bring on Stockport on Saturday and Slades blue and white army!!!

Listening on radio five. The commentator is getting quite angry at all of scholes's yellow card worthy challenges that he's getting away with. First two things after coming on were fouls worthy of a yellow card, and both of them went unpunished.

Out of interest was it Alan Green? That biased twat is a liverpool fan and he makes it clear that he hates united. I once listened to a game where gary neville kissed the badge in front of the home fans when united scored, Green didn't even describe the goal and just went on for the next 15 minutes about how out of order neville was. The next day the incident was barely mentioned in the papers, that's how trivial it was. Green is an absolute dickhead
