"Don't mind me boss, just going to have an innocent look at a thread called 'Those knockers on SSN' that begins with the quote 'Anyone seen them? Is that top see-through?!?' on a football forum likely to post pictures of scantily dressed or even naked women if its posting history is anything to go by"

The problem is SG is that if I had opened that at work following a complaint to Mod Central then I would have faced disciplinary action, so we take a hard line to hard core. My employer has just made 130 staff redundant and HR would LOVE IT ((c) Kevin Keegan) if they could get rid of people like me with spurious internet porn dismissals as there would be no redundancy costs.

It's common etiquette to put NSFW in the title to such threads, there wasn't one.

(Great Norks BTW!)

Surely if you'd had a complaint about a porno pic in a thread it would probably not be a good idea to view it at work anyway? I appreciate that the thread didn't have NSFW in the title but from what I can work out the pic was posted on the second page about a TV presenters tits.

I think i'd be pretty fair to say if you've got onto the second page of this thread you've got a pretty clear idea about what it is about and as such if viewing a pic of porn at work will get you the sack, you probbaly shouldn't be viewing the thread in the first place?

I fully agree that a random picture on a normal thread by a long standing poster should result in such a ban but not an 18 year old kid with 25 odd posts

I said it (the specifics of the banning) are not to be discussed on here, ie on this thread. As ever, I will continue to spend many hours answering the numerous PMs and emails that come my way every single day.

The title of this thread obviously implies "titillation contained within" but that still does not mean it is acceptable to post open-legged hard-core porn on it.

Such imagery has no place no NSC, never has done, never will do. By all means start a new debate or poll on whether NSC should host such things. If the decision is that such imagery is appropriate here then I give up NSC - it's not what I do it for.

Was there some open-legged hard-core porn posted on here?

But of course, no one on nsc ever uses misleading phrases to hint at titilation only to find the thread is an innocent one...

Of course they do, but the very first sentance in this thread tells you what its about so anyone on page 2 of the thread knows full what what could be on it and take sthe consequences of looking at work in my opinion

Yes, the first sentence, for which you need to open the thread.

Once you open the thread there is a log of it and any pornographic images on that page.
