Those extended highlights were so poor

After heartily congratulating the club for giving us extended highlights on 'Seagull Player'... the latest Ipswich offering was terrible.

Previously we had dear ol' Bob giving cracking commentories and humorous asides... it brought the highlights to life, they were really great. The Ipswich one was so poorly cut, really no continuity at all, jerky and the worst bit was the over-dubbing. It all sounded so false and tagged-on. Such a shame because I so look forward to seeing them.

The commentary for home games is truly awful.

BBC Commentary for all highlights please.

am still loving the extra coverage but agree about the commentary. Think they are both shit really. Don't care though, it's more than us exiles have ever had before.

Well I'm glad that we're all moaning about the highlights and the pot noodles rather than anything trivial.

If you've got any criticisms, I'd send them to the club. I must admit I've often watched the highlights on the opposing team's site, because they are usually longer and the quality is better.

It's the BBC Radio Sussex commentary isn't it? Just overlaid onto the raw video footage.

It's an improvement on the standard highlights package at least, although I agree other clubs do it better, but they have more experience. It surprises me that the club are constantly playing catch-up in this respect as in most things we tend to be at the forefront of developments.
