Stealth is in my opinion quite simply the best ride in the UK. Although i'm a pure speed freak and was always gonna love it, you can tell everyone enjoys it by the huge grins as it 'Takes Off'! Acceleration faster than any road car ever, worth the entrance fee alone!

Also plenty of other good ones, Tidal wave, Nemesis and Collosseus amongst others so enjoy!

If you were planning on getting tickets on the door i'd recomend this site, save a few quid to pay for lunch! ;)

The free state of Kemp Town
When I was a nipper I used to love the Dolphin ride and the Black Hole when I was older, graduating ultimately to what they called the Flying Fish ride. It was great as a youngster but then I soon discovered Alton Towers and the like to take my thrills yet further.

I left Thorpe Park long behind me until last year when someone suggested to me that it was entirely different now. Not wrong they were.

We went out of season in October, just before it closes, and the queues were really easy. But the real surprise was that the rides really are worth going on now. It's totally transformed from what was once a fairly tame theme park into a proper stonker.

Some proper world class rides there now, and I've yet to try that enormous sky rocket event. I'd definitely recommend it outside of the holidays, they have some fantastic rides, and they're all crammed in a fairly tight space unlike Alton Towers which can take days.

I give it 5 badgers
