Richard keys saying we have a deal to appoint Thomas Frank as our new head coach at the end of the season . Sorry it posted already on here

Writing in his blog on Monday morning, presenter Keys has suggested that De Zerbi will leave the club at the end of the season, with Frank set to be appointed as the new Brighton manager...

"It’s over. Brighton’s latest defeat means that only Sheff U [Sheffield United], Burnley and [Nottingham] Forest have a worse record than theirs this season. They’ve won just six of their last 28. If Sean Dyche, David Moyes or any other domestic coach had a record like that there would be screams for them to be sacked. The Italian will leave at the end of the season - I’m hearing to be replaced by Thomas Frank, who can think himself unlucky not to have been linked with bigger jobs. Liverpool? Why not?"

As well as being an insufferable bellend, that guy cannot write for toffee.

As for the topic itself, yet more media interpretation of what's going on at the club, with an added dose of hyperbole for good measure.

Berk.

I could live with Mbeumo on our right wing. Apart from that not very inspiring is it, a safe appointment a yes man who won’t rock the boat.
It's difficult isn't it?

We can't have a yes man but if we get anyone who even hints that he might pause before saying yes a lot of people go into meltdown.

What we need is a yes man who rocks the boat. Some kind of managerial double think.

Thing I don’t get about those with the pitch forks out for RDZ is he’s not saying anything different to what many of us said about the summer/Jan window
A manager that wants us to step up and sign a few quality players seems to have a few up in arms.

What we say makes not the slightest difference to morale or the harmonious atmosphere at the club. Everything a manager makes public has an effect - positive or negative - even if they’re saying the same thing.

What fans say on social media does make a difference to morale. Gossip and poison spreads far quicker than truth.

Don’t agree - Moyes has publicly said he’s not sure about signing a new contract because, in part, of fan opinion for example

I wonder who he's hearing it from? The voices in his head or those at the bottom of the whisky bottle? I'd be astonished if this happened, not least because of the longstanding enmity between the chairmen.
Maybe he heard it from his daughters best friend (who he married) daughters best friend who he will marry (repeat cycle ad-infinitum)…the dirty old perv.

Ok. ‘Not the slightest difference’ might be overstated. But it’s a fraction of the impact of the manager’s public statements. There’s a reason all the best managers keep most things in-house and carefully choose their moments to criticise. All voices are not equal.
The best managers are normally stocked with quality players to work with and therefore don’t really have much to complain about do they? I’m sure Pep would soon start making waves if the Man City owners sold his best players and replaced them with championship hopefuls.

They normally complain endlessly about fixtures, referees, and other perceived injustices.

In other words, external problems.

Obviously there are occasional exceptions like Mourinho, but they're generally and correctly considered to be self destructive arseholes who do more damage to the clubs that hire them than good.

Also, I know we're SHITEHOUSE at the moment, but Brentford are 16th. In other words, they've fallen further than the Albion since last season WITHOUT European football!

No chance. Thomas Frank has done superbly at Brentford but our players would not suit his style so I doubt we'd be interested. And why would he be interested in leaving Brentford for us? Moves between any clubs in the bottom 12 are all pretty much sideways.

I’m thinking way back beyond Pep.
