Get this one done before the World Cup and we have had a fantastic window with just a few lose ends to tie up after the cup finishes.

There was some twitter noise today that they've rejected a £10m bid from us, but I'm guessing that's old news

Don't think there's anything at all to suggest we're going back for him, is there?

If you believe the papers we are still tracking him and had a 10M bid rejected earlier this month.

Since then there's been a load more reported interest from other clubs, but German reports say he wants a PL move.

Push the boat on this one. We desperately need a top midfielder, we are too thin and we need to keep progressing

He seems to be a deep lying midfielder who is no worse than what we have at all the key attributes for that position, but who chips in with more goals and assists whilst being a good age and value for money. Could very well be the number one target this summer if at a price we feel acceptable. Realistic, unspectacular, but an upgrade none the less on first 11 and kick into an upgrade for the bench too as a result.

Thomas Delaney? Isn't that an Irish name? There's been a randy paddy in Denmark methinks.

IF this has anything to do with us, you'd have to say we've had a VERY good few weeks in terms of transfers. Very little else to do over the summer.

It smells goodbye and that could happen soon! Thomas Delaney (26) have been inquiring for weeks.

Now his departure from Bremen is getting more and more concrete.

At least one concrete offer for the Danish midfield star is Werder Bremen.

Manager Frank Baumann confirms BILD: "It's the case that one or the other interested club has reported on a change. We are in talks."

Baumann negotiates about Delaney change!

But it should not be about a departure within the Bundesliga. Dortmund had recently shown great interest.

According to BILD information, Baumann is currently playing poker with a Premier League club over a transfer in the summer break.

Baumann: "We can not rule out that Thomas leaves us."

Condition is that in addition to the sporting perspective for Delaney and the coal for Werder agrees.
